After watching Deadwood, I realized how insanely awesome Brad Dourif is. I started noticing him everywhere... most notably, I’d watched The One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest a million times and realized he was Billy. Still hard for me to believe he’s been the voice of Chucky the whole time.

Ya know... When I first read it I felt the same, that it was an overly-convoluted over-the-top comic-booky thing to do. But then it dawned on me that the whole “unhinged from time” thing was played more like Vonnnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five.

Was gonna add him, but couldn’t recall excatally how he bit it in the movie. If it was Aether or other means.

My headcanon: He didn’t get “teleported” like so many say... he’s actually stuck inside the Gem. If it, I don’t know, gets shattered in a climatic point, he could be released (along w/ Ultron in the Mind Gem...sadly, I think Ronan was actually destroyed by the Power Gem tho).

SGC2C is, by far, one of my all time favorite and most dear shows that truly expanded my ideas of not only comedy but media and the veiwer’s relationship to it.

My guess is the Beeb execs didn’t want the show back, so blaming it on Moffat. Kinda ironic since Capt Jack was made by Moff to begin with.

I’m wondering if the roster is going to be similar to the comic version of New Warriors, or if it’ll be like the Defenders and actualy be another team like the Great Lakes Avengers. That would much more fit the mold of a sit-com.

Personally, I thought the “lack of repercussions” was intentional and used to build contrast between her relationship w/ her parents and peers and that of other characters (ie, Will).

Honestly, I don’t see it as convoluted in the least bit. His plan was 1. To get 1-on-1 time w/ Bucky to find out where the footage of his old hit was kept and 2. to get said footage into the hands of someone who would show it to Tony.

Untrue.... His plan wasn’t to activate him into causing havok... but instead to find out where the footage of the hit was. Bucky going all Winter Soldier was just Zemo’s exit plan.

Should also check out the old 70's BBC show Survivors if ya like the whole reconstruction aspect. Its about a group of people trying to make it in the UK after a strain of flu wipes out the population. By Season 3 or so, the show focuses mainly on the struggles of the group just to get by... finding a source of power,

Exactly... The accords, Panther, the Civil War, etc didn’t matter. All he needed was 1. to get 1-on-1 time w/ Bucky to find out where the base was and 2. pass the footage to Tony or someone who would show it to Tony. The rest was just how his actions reverberated through out the super-hero community.

Beg to differ there... Zemo need the footage to show Tony (and to be positive himself). Framing Bucky was so he could get him in a room and find the hidden base in Siberia w/ the archives containing the footage was.

To be fair... Netflix has fostered their own tone and “feel” for their MCU properties. Runaways def wouldn’t fit in with it.

I believe the tentative rules are “they can use Skrulls, but not specific ones”. So, say K’lrt or Paibok can’t be used, but the race could be used in general.

Kinda dissagree... There was definately potential there. I liked the updating of the Super-Science from retro 60s into something more akin to CERN. And for the most part, the actors did a decent job.

Man, I’d hoped they’d be able to pull it off... but I was worried they were going to try to pull off an Avengers without laying the groundwork. If they all had been introduced before... or if they were smart enough to know that we don’t really need “origin stories” for everyone... they could have focused more on the

Or maybe Magus? Maybe that’s what “How she looks kind of shift” means?

IIrc, Marvel can use the Skrulls, except for many of the specific characters like K’lrt (Super-Skrull), Paibok (Power Skrull), etc.

If they were gonna pull a “Secret Invasion”, it would be better to use Space Phantoms to avoid any complications tho.

Defenders: Twist ending- Punisher shoots Elekra to the horror of the other heroes. As they’re about to fight they notice Elekra’s body looks like this:
