Well, I think we agree on that. Just thinking about how Crowder was almost killed in the Pilot to "Justified" before the writers wised up.

All the bacon?

When Nick was asking where Trubel stashed the body, the first thought that entered my mind was that Nick was going to urinate on the head before returning it to sender.

Of course, Juliette's 'career' as a vet has as much impact on the story as Adalind's career as a lawyer.

So are you telling me you would've preferred it if Juliette didn't die at the end, leaving her as Grimm's version of Boyd Crowder? (Because that might've been neat)

But this is the important question: Would the broomstick be a traditional or a souped-up Harry Potter version, with gnarly footrests/pedals?

Go Ahead: Jake My Day gets my vote as well.

Favorite moment for me? Peralta's chagrin that the local cop he was talking to before they stormed the barn was asking which model copter they flew in on.

Did they kill her off though? I ask because the promo for next week's Season Finale (which are never as opaque as "Mad Men's" are, has Kenneth stating how "the Grimm is still alive."

By jove, you just may be onto something!

Excellent coverage, Alexa. Looking forward to reading it next season.

A fantastic return to form. Their ability to stretch a gag was great (especially when Jake was lifting up the box).

Agreed. That was the official "Shit Just Got Real" moment (which felt earned, in my opinion).

The only exception to the puppy-killing rule is Essie Davis in "The Babadook." (Hope that doesn't count as an intense spoiler to anyone)

I guess it's like the TARDIS: "Bigger on the inside."

One of the best parts of this episode (among many!) was Bitsie Tulloch's decision to play Juliette ice-cold. Loved her final lines in this episode.

Call me crazy, but I loved the Elmore Leonard 'references' in this one (bail bondsman from Florida pursuing a sociopath? Whaddya need, a road map)? Sure, they weren't as talkative as Leonard characters, but just as fun.

Fellow Brooklyn 99 fan here, and I definitely agree with your sentiments about hoping the writers don't screw up their reprieve if they do get a Season 3 order. The real trick would be to figure out where the show could go from here. Moloch's dead (for now) and they seem to have abandoned the whole "Four Horsemen of

I think you hit the nail on the head here. One of my favorite shots in Season 1 (among many) was the reveal that the Headless Horseman was using decapitated heads as lanterns in the episode focusing on Paul Revere. That definitely embodied the genuine spookiness you mentioned, creating the fantastic Fall/Halloween

It really is a shame to read the comments here and compare them to the comments that were on the Season 1 finale review. There was so much energy and potential at the end of Season 1. It saddens me to see how that potential turned out, as well as the massive drop-off in commenters, both in terms of enthusiasm and
