Too bad the game is a manipulative piece of trash at this point :(

I am 75 hours in and at act 3 also. Kind of a sledgehammer to the face, though, when the game suddenly flips the table on you and goes, “Here’s all the stuff you screwed up while you were off trying to be awesome!”
Heads up, Act 3 starts throwing an insane number of choices at you, and its not even remotely as clear what the consequences of them will be (although some are excessively clear), so it gets real overwhelming real fast when you’re trying to think about what to do on your next playthrough. I beat it over the weekend…
As a 5’3” short king, I can confirm we actually can’t kiss our lovers. I’m always asking men for uppies before we smooch and it still doesn’t work. It’s brutal out here.
Lol, they say they were expecting maybe 100k player counts, not the 800k+ they’ve been getting. So cool that low key single player release, with no microtransactions or BS, made by a smaller company, is doing so well. Hopefully, this hell help reverse some of the terrible industry trends we’ve fallen into.
NPC field of vision is essential for your Rogue character. A lot of new players struggle with rogues because of not knowing this. On my alt save I play a rogue and to play him I often detach him from the party have him sneak to a group we are going to fight by keeping him out of line of sight and in the shadows.
One does not simpl-- oh shit, it worked
5e DMs all over the world struggling with combat difficulty for parties past level 10, YOU ARE SEEN!
Haven’t seen it yet but I’m skeptical it’s better then Spider-verse or Guardians of the Galaxy 3 which were both really good
No.
I don’t know if you haven’t spent much time on Twitter but this is like...the normal capital ‘G’ Gamer reaction whenever a black person/queer person/woman exists within 100 yards of their video games/movies.
Maybe I’m reading too deep into your comment, but let’s not conflate racism with mental illness. There are plenty of people with mental health issues who manage to not be racist in their treatment of others.
My employer is giving us all a paid wellness break which begins on August 3rd through August 5th. I will be doing nothing but Baldur’s Gate!
All of this is cool, but the frame rate and some of the tech issues on the stream today make me worry about performance. Now, I’m pretty forgiving, I played and Liked Cyberpunk before their big patch, but I’m a little worried about the jank nonetheless.
I would think the only caveat to that should be something like, if you place it anywhere for profit then it should generate profit for the writers and actors as per some or other set out standard.
But I think it would be better if first the rights returned to the writers allowing them the ability to turn a profit on…
I saw it on twitter, someone mentioned that all movies that get vaulted become public domain.
This tactic should be on the table in the writers strike, if it isn’t already. All creative should insist on contracts that protect their works — at the very minimum, prevent them from going into a vault, never to be seen again, all for the sake of a write-off.
I’d be more shocked if I hadn’t met people who were excessively proud that they “only read one book” (no points for guessing which).
Not sure if I could be more disappointed, though...
I remember a long time ago there was a post that would go around on social media of someone relating how they asked a guy they were trying to get to know what kind of video games they liked. They answered Crusader Kings II, and when the storyteller asked what else they responded that no it was just that one.
Dungeons & Dragons inspired? Wasn’t Baldur’s Gate an actual D&D game? And on that topic, is this one not?
