Cyberpunk 2077 is in great shape now. I played it at launch, and loved it. So yea I might be a little biased.... But I booted it up this past weekend, for the first time in a year or so and man, they sure have updated it a lot. Playing on Series X and it looks fantastic. It plays great, super smooth. They’ve

This is the only game I know with cotton and other resources but the only source of fibers are seaweed?????? But Scrooge offers 2 dresses for sale a day! I think they will change the fiber/seaweed bit[I pray] Also Scrooge sold the same B&B lamp 3 days in a row, that duck is pushing old freight.

Me, I am this person. I had no idea these games were popular at all.

I’d add that all chests appear to be linked not just the ones in your house. If you have a chest in each biome you can still cook and craft with things that are stored elsewhere.

I had no idea what Wall-E’s house would look like.

It looks like the DLC plans are telegraphed: the doors in the castle. Many of them have a blank spot where a symbol should be. They’ll add in new villagers to bring to town, new little realms and quests, as they go on. Likely each new character or story will come with new outfits and furniture in their theme too.

From a European standpoint, I don’t get why people in the US still want COVID related measures. Are the variants circulating in the US different than the ones circulating in Europe ? Because around here, just about everything has been dropped 6 months ago and hospitalizations are at background noise level and deaths

If an organization cancels an event they were going to hold, they should be allowed to explain why. I’m sorry you think keeping their attendees safe and LGBTQ+ people existing (which make up a decent number of speedrunners for some games) are “politics”.

Shut the fuck up snowflake

Wow, it never even occurred to me that the reason he became the world’s greatest adventurer was because the alternative was paying someone else to do it for him. That’s a great character detail.

Thank you—and thanks Mike, rest well, you made a lot of people happy. Truly Fahey was the best of us.

Off-topic but how is there not a tribute to former Kotaku writer Mike Fahey?

> Assassin’s Creed Mirage, previously codenamed “Rift,” is the follow-up to 2020's viking-themed Valhalla. Set in 9th entry Baghdad and originally planned as an expansion to Valhalla—

Odyssey had a pretty cool guided tour mode to really scratch that Greek virtual tourism itch. I think it might have even been a free standalone during the early days of covid but I don’t know if it still is.

...Have you played Saints Row 3 recently?

My only real gripe is that some weapons are so significantly better than others that the difficulty of big fights genuinely feels random. Like, try fighting a boss with one of the gauntlets, then with a Godly Sword.

Video games are so weird. Imagine going to the park with a couple of friends to play a pick up game and like 10% of the time an NBA prospect joined in.

I know it's the opposite of the complaint in the article, but they really should just take SBMM out of the damn casual matchmaking. I used to think SBMM people complaining about skill levels were silly, but trying to play Apex regularly lately, feels like I have to clench my cheeks and sweat my ass off to have any

Mostly the violence and ‘cult’ stuff is why it’s rated T. There’s a loooot of blood but the combat is kind of like cutesy Hades stuff. Then there’s the literal shit and vomit you need to clean up every so often.
