God I hope this thread doesn’t become a shitshow. Here goes:

Hypercharged:Unboxed is actually a good game ( FPS and tower defence with a GI Joe style action figure) but is a pretty bad name. The studios previous ‘ New Retro Neon Arcade. ‘ is also a wordsalad , but a fantastic 80s VR arcade that you can add mame roms to and have actual playable cabinets in it.

It’s worse though, it’s Immortals Fenyx Rising.

for best ROI on the Yule Tokens, do the missions but then just grind the shooting game. 40 for each time you complete it with ~1300 pts.

The fighting ring pays more but takes much longer, and i don’t think the math favors it as the best grinding method. Also, the pre-match lack of banter is incredibly awkward and

Don’t feel bad. I had to look it up just now.

There’s not a shred of doubt in my mind that they were deliberately not optimizing on last gen in favor of pretty graphics on PC and next gen.

I’ve heard people talk about this but I’ve played this game for like 50 hours now and I can’t say I’ve looted a single dildo. I’ve seen them in the sex shops but not sitting out around the city.

Some say this is how the universe will end, and we can only delay it.

The only reasonable answer is to dramatically increase the dildo density.  Once everything is dildos, dildos will cease to be distracting.

Switch has no built-in mic... so this game would be... yeah...

Yeah, it’s weird. I mean, now it makes more sense why Loki (Basim) is speaking during the anomalies, but it’s not really clear how he “created” them or why.

The thing that continues to bother me, is it’s clear that CDPR made a game that was designed to push the limits of high end hardware, but still encouraged last gen console owners to preorder and purchase. They did this knowing that they needed last gen purchases to justify the cost of the game’s development, but also

I consider myself a somewhat capable human being and the first time I inserted a disc on the console, I did it the wrong way, even in vertical mode.

Of course, the far bigger issue is that a loud proportion of Cyberpunk 2077 purchasers (and indeed any other big-name game) don’t want reviews at all. They want reassurance. They paid for this game nearly two years ago, for whatever illogical reason (“I’m supporting the massive multi-million dollar company!”),

I’m just grateful they made the hidden blade useful again. I like being able to pretty much one hit kill any enemy if I’m careful enough. That hasn’t stopped me from being chased by every guard in a city. It sounds like this ability would help me greatly when that happens.

Flight sims and Starfox 64 are exactly what I blame my original use of inverted controls on, too.

I can’t do it anymore (I didn’t play console shooters for a loooooong time), but when I was like 10 years old I could *only* play inverted.

I actually played everything with inverted controls when I was younger, mainly because before I *ever* played a single shooter with a controller, I had played a bunch of flight sims on PC, and then when I was around 11 or so I got Starfox 64 which basically solidified using inverted controls, even in Goldeneye, for

Idiot. It’s not a herb pack.

Don’t literacy-shame the game. If you want historical accuracy in your games, your character should just die of gangrene rather than healing with your “Herb pack” or whatever unrealistic BS they threw in this one.

I’m still sad that they didn’t stick with Gods and Monsters. Immortals Fenyx Rising just doesn’t feel as interesting, or memorable.
