Trained at a young age to invert (mainly Starfox) and too old now to go back.  My kids don’t invert, which makes it a problem when they go, “hey, can you pass this stage for me?” and I attempt to just do it without changing the settings.

My daughters still play occasionally and the figures decorate a couple areas in our game room. Star Wars figures by Star Wars DVDs, Marvel by the same, and a display shelf of several others.  I really loved the art style.

Mine required a year down, cleaning, and replacement of thermal paste on the processor, but has completely ceased being literally louder than the vacuum.

The 3DO. I mainly bought it for the Warhammer 40k game, which was pretty good, in that you’d usually die in a way that felt pretty grimdark. I still recall one mission whose goal was like “survive for two minutes” and could only be won by spacing out your Marines (see what I did there?) so they each took turns holding

As someone who was alive for the hearings, it never ceases to amaze me that Ollie North is a figure who people take seriously enough to give him a talk show or hire him to consult on video games. The man did some extremely shady stuff and played extremely dumb on the stand. “I don’t recall.” and “I think I shredded

For what it's worth, I've been playing the PS4 version of Valhalla and had 3-4 crashes.  Haven't been able to find a PS5, but now wondering if some of it is the games (or the PlayStation Network or something)

My mother used to threaten to delete saved games if my grades were low.  It was an effective scare tactic and they never got low enough for me to find out if she actually would do so.

I expect Barrett to be confirmed. If so, I then hope Biden puts two more people on the court. In my dreams, he then does a few big ticket, highly contentious moves. Universal health care, $15 minimum wage and implementing an algorithm to draw districts off the 2020 census that forbids gerrymandering would be good. And

I have a kid who spent hours (and a month's worth of Amazon boxes) building a seven foot high cat condo apartment building.  I have no doubt she'd spend equal time building insane race tracks.  $100 is a lot, but this wouldn't be the worst Christmas gift for her.

The Switch is my first handheld. (My wife had a Gameboy)

I mean, many debit card readers in the US say “press the green 0 to confirm”. I would presonally prefer it if Sony and Nintendo used the same buttons over caring which button it is.

I’m a teacher: Winter Break is when I have time to game. I’m not currently planning on buying PS4 versions of games like Valhalla (that may change if I don’t get a PS5 by Thanksgiving Break). I’m not going crazy on this hunt for a PS5, but will keep my eye open. I really wish Sony had done a “First we offer preorders

I’m too busy being confused by the spelling of “Fenyx”, which reads more as the player name of a 12 year old edgelord in 1999 than anything else.

Breath of the Wild x Odyssey. With the character creator from The Sims and the big bad from RingFit. Which, hey, may actually be good.

Yeah.  I think I’m going to be waiting until the PS5 is out, and if the game is still going strong, I’ll pick up the PS5 port.

A friend always rants about CK2, so I gave CK3 a go. Before long, I found myself marrying a lusty, cynical, sadistic 15 year old with a club foot and espionage experience. Together, we killed my 4 year old uncle in order to double the size of my kingdom. And then I had a nervous breakdown because I have the traitJust

It’s not Greedfall-bad, but it’s bad. It’s like they think people never sit on the couch to play video games.  They could easily double the size of that text.

Generally Chaotic Good with a bit of Platinum Rule thrown in.

Most of their limitations make sense to me, but why would I would I need two media remotes or two cameras for one PlayStation?

Or, conversely, they’re hoping to time it to coincide with additional Covid stimulus checks. I suspect more than a few dollars of the first one went to Nintendo.
