Maybe it is time “women tearing women down” thing is retired?

Because America, of course, invented everything.

As a white girl who adores fall, I can say sincerely those pumpkin spice lattes suuuck! In fact everything pumpkin “flavored” that isn’t actually pumpkin is gross (I’m looking at you pumpkin ice cream, yuck).

I know enough antique, old book and assorted ephemera collectors to have seen ample evidence that the love of fall goes way, way back. It has its roots in harvest festivities and the simple joy of a crisp, cool day among the changing colors of the season more than consumerism. Sure, the love of fall has been

Great point about the harvest festivals, they’re kind of thing . . . everywhere.

I came here to say this too. Harvest festivals have been around for millennia and are certainly not just for white ladies.

I think Rocky Horror came out 45 years ago.  I think that’s more than “in a while”.

No kidding

I grew up in Miami, so Fall typically means the first maybe chance of non-swamp weather, and the always merciful end to hurricane season.

what in the ass is this article talking about? seriously.. Autumn has been a time of celebration and get togethers due to the harvest and change of seasons and the proximity of winter setting in. Its been that way for millennia and it has NOTHING to do with white women. Fall is a wonderful time of year. Period..end of

Because in most places around the country, late November is winter.  The fall occasion is Halloween.

But pointing at all of the activities and foods associated with fall in America and labeling them “white girl” things in 2020 doesn’t necessarily connote a hatred or disdain for them

My only beef with the movie is that I find Jack Nicholson absolutely repellent and creepy in a bad way, not a sexy devil way.

Paragraph 5: “Thanksgiving was only a regional holiday and celebrated largely in New England. It had no actual link to Pilgrims and Native Americans” [goes on to explain that the Pilgrim connection is bogus]

Despite all of this, fall is still the best season, and Thanksgiving is still our best public holiday.

‘Queen, did you block me? Sad face.’

WELL?????

It was storming during my surgery, so the last thing I asked the anesthesiologist was, if the building got hit by lightning while I was under, would I get superpowers?

With the inadvertent truth slip of what she really thinks-- “they make up stories”-- and all!

Awesome, I did not know this was coming! For the longest time I just hoped that Allie Brosh was doing okay wherever she was because it had been so long since a new Hyperbole and a Half strip had been published and she had been so open about struggling with depression. Anyway, I’m glad she’s back.
