The goal . . . was simply to increase the turnout of all voters, any voter, as if another victory for the Republican incumbent would be better than very few people voting at all.

This seems like a good conversation about policy to have at any time other than right now.

Possibly controversial, but I’m gonna say it anyway: Beyoncé’s endorsement coming within 24 hours of the election seems meaningless. She’s probably too late to move the needle re people who weren’t already on board with a) her preferred candidate and b) a plan to vote.
