I think she’ll probably need to find a man that she finds comparatively better, before she leaves Offset for good. If her chief justifications are “he’s my best friend” and “I’m horny” ... well, eventually she might figure out that best friends don’t cheat on you, and dick is a plentiful and renewable resource.

I have a cousin who has kids with a boyfriend who (she knows) is a serial cheater. Unfortunately, economics tie her to him in a way Cardi doesn’t have to worry about whenever she breaks it off with Offset, but she’s always posting things about how “all men” cheat and it’s just “the way guys are” nowadays.

I’ve been thinking that someone has decided these behaviours are a result of her upbringing in a low socioeconomic class and that calling her out for such could be seen as elitist/classist? Is that plausible?

I have a theory about this.
