Fun fact for those who don’t know: this song was specifically written for this episode by Rachel Bloom, the co-creator, writer, and star of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Where you can see her sing other songs that she wrote, like “The Math of Love Triangles”:

If another writer wrote the article, maybe they would have. I think I’m pretty clear about some of the weird, outdated shit in the movie and explain my take on it. The site is more than just one voice.

Yeah. My daughter is disabled and on a state Medicaid waiver program, which charges a parental fee based on a sliding scale. I still pay about $6500/year for the parental fee, but it acts as a secondary insurance that picks up everything our primary insurance doesn’t. It is a lifesaver, and I rarely if ever post about

Kara, you’ve been one of the best voices & most vocal advocates I’ve heard since the January march for the oft-ignored, “That’s great, guys, but go out & VOTE.” And you’re kinda one of my heroes.

Please never stop saying it.

Hey Alliterator- they are the two main characters, and it is fun, and both creators are great. I reviewed the book for Multiversity Comics, and we gave it PotW.

You wrote that the book looks “message heavy,” yet you never said what message or offered any evidence to back that up.

On the contrary, it does look like it has good writing and interesting artwork. It looks like a fun Marvel comic — much like Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!

You’ve said this in two threads. You must be fun.

Having two non-white, non-straight people as main characters isn’t a message. It’s pretty much just a reflection of, you know, real life.

This looks awesome.

To people of color:

Lying cat claims it’s a real cat. It’s not. It’s a fake cat. Sad. Would not grab.

As a history nerd, I like to reassure myself that what we’re experiencing now is a normal part of progress. There is always a sort of kickback before society changes meaningfully. The 50's were a kickback decade. There was a kickback during the industrial revolution. The Spanish Inquisition was partly in response to

“I know how we can handle a Presidential loose cannon! Let’s start a civil war!!” - California

Why I am marching today (See you soon, NYC!):

I would definitely watch Gina and The Golden Girls reboot (still working on the title).

the new series hopes to re-introduce who Carol Danvers is to audiences while conveniently sweeping under the rug the bizarre path Civil War II took her down in 2016.
