I’m not for banning any speech. And I’m constantly unfollowed by Groupthink. There are places for free speech, like in public, on your own website etc... If a place doesn’t like it that’s their decision.

That’s just not true. First, the economics aren’t there; most front-line HIV drugs are old and off-patent. Pharma companies won’t even do HIV research anymore, it’s a solved problem. It’s government entities (including our own) that would absolutely love a vaccine, and are willing to fund the research.

well HIV medications are free at the health department, and now many if not all are generic, so I don’t think the drug companies are making a significant amount of money off of the medications.

Honestly, I can’t jump on the conspiracy bandwagon - as tempting as it is to agree, and add that in addition the people most likely to have HIV are black and poor, I honestly don’t think the entire Western world’s medical scientists are that disinterested in solving HIV or cancer.
