That dinner reminded so much of the episode of VEEP where Selina's daughter and ex-husband have a sit down family interview (which included a very awkward dinner) but you know without the camera crew present.

But yeah, has a definite Robin/Nightwing vibe.

It is from Uncanny Avengers 5, Olivier Coipel on pencils and Mark Morales on ink.

I'll cede to the Nomad costume provided during whichever movie(s) he dons that costume that he does at least 2 (per film) training montages dressed like this:

Listen Hemsworth, Evans.

Ok, benefit of the doubt on the one-liners down thread. Done. I think it can be possible to misperceive something as racist, sure. But just because something isn't blatantly racist (which Hedgehog mentioned) doesn't mean words and actions that are more subtle can't be informed by someone's lingering hangups about

This made me LOL. Don't know your co-worker, but I've been there in my work relationships before.

Ok, I'm seeing a theme in your comments down thread. Do you actually want to engage in a discussion? Or just throw some flames around where you can? It is one thing to have a different interpertation or 'perspective'. But What Hedgehog wrote is actually on the money. Would you prefer we call it making bigoted or

Here I've been doing my dude dancing all wrong! A little less like I'm afraid to move my arms and body and more like this:

Yeah, I think my friends argument was along the lines of the research on brain scans as proof of concept. I haven't read any of the studies, but I'm guessing they are small in size which offers both benefits (more detailed study of the research participants, ability to administer a costly procedure like MRI or CATSCAN

I don't know, yes, maybe? That is an interesting question. It is my understanding that intersex is variation in sex chromosomes so perhaps. There has been some interesting discussions in the trans* (at least among the folks I hang with) that transsexuals (as opposed to some of the other groups under the trans*

Yeah, I hear you on this. But there has to be a better way to share the results in a clear, meaningful, and engaging way to the public. There will always be folks selling snake oil, but we should at least try to remove barriers from folks accessing information from research that is often paid for with their tax

Thanks for the assist with answering this Henri. Couldn't have put it better myself.

I agree that most folks wouldn't read them or even know how to interpret them which is why we rely on the media to tell us what they actually mean. I'm doing my masters in health science currently and the overwhelming majority of journal articles are written in dry, technical language littered with field specific

*palm face* I'm going to blame the wine I was drinking for not even catching that. :-)

I agree, I worked at my cities local LGBT Community Center and my co-workers and I had this discussion. My personal favorite was that we hold a contest for renaming what feels like an ever growing acronym to something like Dancing Ponies or Twirling Dolphins, because who hates ponies, dolphins, dancing, and twirling.

I hear ya, I posted to my FB page (which has contacts in Europe, Africa, India from my previous job, and I'll continue posting) but seriously I'd personally push the site but I understand where you're coming from too.

Kat, you might not like this suggestion but for every post on any GM mainpage I'd have a boilerplate comment that redirected folks to ROYGBIV. I can see how that might be antagonist but 900kin 3 months. That is a lot. If you're cool answering, how long has ROYGBIV 'existed' and how many unique hits have it received?

I have no idea what BDG is an acronym for, please tell. Ugh, yup 'you' (not you Henri) are totally A-OK in regretting your abortion BUT guess what, your fetus would never have survived outside your womb therefor just stop. Also, are you not doing better? Poor and disenfranchised folks deserve the same considerations.
