Sounds kind of suspect to me. Peoples cards get stolen and numbers hacked all the time it could just be a mere coincidence or maybe this guys is trying to get out of paying the bill and claiming fraud.

TV in general just sucks there is only a handful of decent shows I like to watch and the rest is filled with garbage reality TV and other things not even worth watching. We do the same thing by marking them but use some red stickers instead of writing on them for that very reason. We learned the hard way too when we sent about 20 of them to be fixed only to get an email telling us the cost.
