The impression I get is that it was kind of thrust upon her due to her success with the Guild/Dr Horrible/being hot, and then she just kind of ran with it- started doing some video game casting, she's one of the main people for that Youtube network with the geeky shows (like Tabletop), and so on.

…I completely forgot this movie existed.

This technique results in less cheese and thus I cannot endorse it.

I don't think this is exactly right. Sure, journalists shouldn't be robots. And yes, ignoring the opinion of someone who has researched something in-depth seems silly.

I feel like Dinklage gets too much crap for his VO work in Destiny.

That's not an unreasonable position- comics continuity is so damn bloated, it'd be nice to just have new people instead of shoehorning in other stuff.

I want to take this opportunity to reiterate that I thought Garfunkel and Oates was pretty great.

…Is this an AV Club article, about a Salon article, about a reddit thread?

Never would have happened. Harmon has always been hyperaware (almost too aware, IMO) of the fact that he thinks Jeff/Annie has a lot of problems in it. On the other hand, the two actors have obvious chemistry, so he would have been crazy not to do SOMETHING with it.

Yeah, the S3 finale was kind of amazing- hopeful, happy, a sense of closure,, but also the sense that these peoples' lives would continue.

I mean, the Jeff/Britta thing was a joke, to the point where everyone knew they were insane. I don't think that undermined any kind of "shipping" at all.

Yeah, you're not wrong. But still, this was an episode where Garrett was an ACTUAL CHARACTER. Like, he could have been the one to say something to the group instead of his mother, for example.

That does sound like a pretty sweet job

I feel guilty for not really giving a damn about Black Widow. Like, yeah, she's cool, and yeah, she had some good stuff in Avengers, but it's like, ok, let's move on. I kind of just want the new Supergirl show to cross universes and take her place, that would be fun.

I wasn't a huge fan of this season, but this episode amused me. Winston is great.

It's OK. It has some good one-liners, it has some good character beats. But nothing ever seems like it's GOING anywhere, you know?

I was tired of it, but then Jess had a "one night stand" in which she wrote a musical, so now I use it as a term of venom.

I'm actually totally fine with Rosa as Jake's sounding board for the Amy thing- her role is basically "Shut up, you're stupid, all of this is stupid, just do it."

I feel bad for Coach- he's not a bad character, but the show didn't really have a place for him after he left the first time, so they just kind of awkwardly wedged him back in and hoped for the best.
