OK, but Jimmy Fallon does kind of suck though, right? I mean, the best adjectives I can come up with about him are "young-looking" and "tolerable."
Eh. I'm pretty much bored by Kanye West in every form- his music, his personality, his seemingly annual tabloid-bait stunts- but there's no denying he's successful in music.
I enjoyed the episode, but I wish that the secrets had more MEANING, or that there was a little bit more fallout!
"Joss Whedon—already a lifetime member of the National Institute for Clever Empathetic Guys Understanding You, or NICEGUY"
I just either hate or am bored by everyone on this show.
It's just… I hate everyone and everything. I hate Carol, for pretty much every reason you can think of. I hate Phil for being so spineless- if he'd just go "Carol, this marriage was a mistake, we're not doing it like this," that would be wonderful. And I hate Melissa for being incredibly predictable- of COURSE she's…
Oh wow, that is dead on.
"…and to fulfill the Sandler mandate of love interests nearly half his age."
"This season’s undercurrent of Jake sadness has really gone a long way to
make the character more likable, more enjoyable and, I think to people
who aren’t big fans of Andy Samberg’s shtick, less grating"
Is A- not a good grade?
I know, right? I want the show to become about Phil luring survivors to Tucson and murdering the ones who are the worst.
I dunno, first episode had a lot of dark moments. Which was awesome, frankly.
They don't have good chemistry, is the problem.
You can create plot and conflict in other ways. I totally understand the "point" of her existence, but the fact remains that an irritating character that I hate is not enjoyable to watch.
I hate her too.
Dunno about fish, but I get the impression animals and birds are all gone. I haven't seen or heard a single bird in the show so far.
Right, because it would suck if he "broke up" with a girl he "married" just because she was the last woman left on the planet.
It's hard to feel sorry for a character I loathe, but I appreciated the show making the effort.
"These wedding-crazy lady and disinterested slacker dude characters are
as old as comedy itself,"
