@CuriousYellow: I really like Caroline too. I think the actress has done a good job of being the "mean girl" who's also caring, sweet, and a great friend. I like that she's all of those things which makes her much more to me than a stereotype.

I love this show. Like others, I was bored during the first part of Season 1 but oh boy am I glad I kept watching. I've never read the books, though.

@LauraAnnT: gods, yes! It was such a rip-off to buy the BSG half-seasons at the same $50 price as other show's entire seasons. Plus they'd release them less than a month before the next 1/2 Season aired, so we had nothing to watch during the insanely long hiatuses.

@Dorisaurus: I thought Season 1 was some of the best television I've ever seen (Company Man, anyone?). Most of the problems I had with later seasons of Heroes have been mentioned (especially the "we are seriously so fucking lazy we're going to just lose a character in the future and never mention it again").
