Uh, hi there, everyone who didn’t live through this era in American pop culture history. I just wanna say that the “console war” was not much of a war, nor would it be very interesting to relive in miniseries form... or really any form.

I was thinking the same thing. Who would buy a DVD these days? If you’re gonna own a physical copy of the whole damn series, why not buy the HD version on blu-ray?

That’s true, it was. I guess it felt more like an idealized version of the 80s to me, rather than an accurate representation. I liked that it was, too. It let me concentrate on the characters & story rather than getting frustrated by every dumb little anachronism I saw. 

I thought the “it’s all a simulation” aspect of the episode was immediately obvious. Its portrayal of the 80s seemed to be purposefully cliched, over-the-top & cheesy.

Texas came soo close to no longer being an infected boil on America’s taint.

This administration gets worse celebrities than my goddamn state fair. 

They did Atlantic Rim in this new season. It wasn’t watchable even with the riffing. 

I’ve seen it. I can’t say the RV scene was particularly memorable. At least not compared to the demon pissing on the priest.
