Trump is relevant to this discussion because the article is specifically about Kanye going full-MAGA chud, and Trump both demonstrably has major mental issues and is a gigantic asshole. As others have pointed out, the distinction between a mental illness and a mental/personality disorder is more than a little murky,

Jobs that pay on commission don’t. I worked one sales job that had a similarly piss-poor base salary. If I didn’t sell, I didn’t eat.

Justice League Nights!

If I can lie about everything I give him, absolutely!

You’re still arguing against a point I never made. “I don’t like Specific Person X, and I don’t want to put up with him because Specific Person X is a serious asshole” does not equivocate to “I think Specific Person X—and all those like him—should be oppressed or ostracized.” Do you understand the difference?

Like I already said, you don’t get an automatic pass in life because you suffer from one as opposed to the other. Hell, from the distinction you just made between the two, I’d argue that those with personality disorders, and who are unaware of how their disorders affect others’ perception of them, necessarily have less

I never said they were. But they can both affect one’s judgment and actions. They’re both considered atypical mental states, and are usually treated through medication and/or therapy. And neither category is more deserving of concern and understanding than the other, as was implied.

It isn’t if it’s received approval from the NHTSA.

I’m not sure why you think it’s ok to discriminate against people with personality disorders. That shit goes two ways, Ruprecht.

So you and Kanye aren’t responsible for the shitty things you say & do because you’ve both got a ‘mental illness’ as opposed to a ‘disorder.’ How very convenient for the two of you.

Trump’s got narcissistic personality disorder, and quite probably dementia. Doesn’t mean I gotta like him or put up with his shit, either.

That’s doing it your way.

A couple years before he died, Jon-Erik Hexum was in Voyagers!, a short-lived NBC show about a vaguely Quantum Leap-ish time traveling dude and his annoying boy ward. It only lasted for one season, and I don’t know whether it got canceled before or after he accidentally shot himself.

Beer that’s too old to drink... Now there’s a complete hypothetical!

Oh, boo!

You should go off on the Clintons for no reason, too. That’ll definitely prove you’re not an unhinged nutbag with a history of sexual violence.

I think Mark Mothersbaugh is on record as saying Dare To Be Stupid is the best Devo song Devo never recorded.

Well sure. But I’m talking about music that’s already encoded. These days, there’s enough storage space & computing power to use a lossless codec like FLAC to encode music.

High frequencies, like cymbal crashes, sound like hot garbage on low bitrate MP3s. Even up to 256, they sound distorted & tinny to me.
