Shes just another celebrity that is a celebrity because she is a celebrity. I’m not surprised that it turns out, she doesn’t have any creative substance to offer.

I think we are at a tipping point of too many podcasts. Everyone really believes they are interesting enough to have one.

You’re wrong. Plaza was fantastic.

I don’t, honestly, because whether you have a yard or not you should be taking your dog out for walks. My parents have a neighbor who has a fenced backyard but the dog is hardly ever even out there, and they never take him out for a walk. They walk him on a treadmill. I don’t know if he’s a rescue or not. But it’s not

Didn’t even think of that aspect. Fair point. Although...some dogs probably don’t belong in cramped apartments. But I guess if they get out enough...

I guess I kinda get the yard thing but...

Yeah, a lot of rescues make it damn near impossible to adopt. If you don’t have a house with a fenced yard and somebody always at home, they don’t think you’re a fit dog owner.

They require a stay at home ‘parent’? Jeezus.

I have a friend who’s trying to get another chihuahua 2 years after her first one died (at age 20!) and it’s ridiculous the amount of roadblocks she keeps running into. There was recently something like 43 chihuahuas rescued from a hoarding situation in the city she lives in, and she can’t even get one of those

“If Pete had done his research, he would know that there’s no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog, that at least a quarter of dogs in shelters are purebreds, and that Petfinder has listings for homeless dogs of every breed under the sun, including the one he purchased.”

I think Albie and Portia are interesting only in that Albie believes he is acting differently because he is using different language. Regardless, he is still constantly calculating how to have sex with Portia even if its in a more politically correct way.

Felt that too.  I get serious wife-beater vibes from Matt.  Won’t be surprised to see in the future some arrest happen, sadly.

like give me one example, Chris, of how The City Is Falling Apart that you experienced personally?”

See the problem is thinking Caitlyn Jenner identifies as Trans.

I don’t think most pro-lifers really understand what caring for a special needs child can do to you. My parents inherited care for my uncle after my father’s parents died and, while it did not destroy them, his care certainly took a toll on the whole family.

“Really? I would never. I could never do that. Especially knowing we’re trying to have a kid. Just...just abort mission because they’re gonna have some challenges and we’re gonna have some challenges? I’m mentally tough enough to handle whatever challenge that may present.”

All the more reason this conversation was so important. Where else would the average viewer of this show be exposed to that kind of discourse?

If you want emu content done right, check out Canada’s Useless Farm. There’s Karen and Stanley the emus (Karen is fully murderous and Stanley wears hats). Gary Gusey (goose), the alpacas (Michael, Craig, and Keith), Pencil the duck, Doug the donkey (with serious personal space issues), and Brad the shithead rooster.

I know some people are going to defend it because this is from the perspectives of the victims, and I think that its good that the show is centering the people who suffered the most.

She spent years screaming about how a pedophile was a pedophile and you think she’s crazy because of her “tone.”
