Today I learned the term Sportswashing.

It’s a hell of a thing when people might sooner make life-altering decisions based on what someone says on social media than, say, a doctor or other qualified profession.

If you can convince someone to give you real $$ for a URL embedded in a blockchain, more power to you.  It just won’t be me.  :p

Honestly, part of me thinks if you’re dumb enough to buy an NFT, you’d have stupidly spent that money some other way.

Nah. Every time you get a quest, you can ask extra questions to learn more about the lore, but there’s nothing required to understand the basics of the game. If you really want to deep dive, read all the books.  They’re everywhere.  :D

I can spend hours questing and exploring and enjoying the extensive lore.  Half the fun is running around and never looking at the map.

People who are self-aware and/or capable of self-reflection don’t have to be told to be. It’s like trying to shame the shameless. Teigen can only see the world through her vapid point of view and, unlike a dog who’ll make basic Pavlovian connections, will do this again and again.

It’s sad what lengths people will go to in order to maintain some sliver of celebrity or relevance.
