I’m sorry. You need an app to figure out how to brush your teeth? Get an electric toothbrush and they generally turn off after 2 minutes so you know you’ve brushed long enough. Kids can get the kind where music plays through the brush and your teeth and into your ear drums through your bones (or however those work).

Healthier than living off pizza!

This doesn’t seem right, I don’t see any suggestion for consuming an entire chocolate pie in one sitting.

HAH. I wouldn’t have known either if my mother hadn’t had such an affection for them when I was a kid. Even now they’re not nearly as common as they should be. :D

When I first came to the US I didn’t know what a cornish hen was. My roommate was cooking 2 in the oven. I thought he was making turkey so I opened the oven door and went ‘ummmmm... I think your turkey shrunk...’ My roommate nearly died laughing.

One caveat about ramen noodles: they are fried, usually in palm oil. Maybe everyone but me knew that, but I was surprised. They’re not as healthy as many people seem to think.

And what’s the problem with a bowl of microwaved cheese and bacon?

Another concern is that many rental contracts, especially apartments, are owned by massive corporations, like Aspen Property Management, who don’t so much negotiate rent, as tell you what you’ll pay, or give you 24 hours notice to find a new place.

Idiots don’t take critique and don’t revise their stance on something. You, sir, are not an idiot. Carry on.

Good friend of mine just had his colon removed due to Crohn’s. Was an extensive, invasive procedure, followed a few months later by an even more extensive, more invasive procedure to make a j-pouch. He is now completely cured and feels amazing though. If other treatments aren’t working this could be an option.

The funny thing is that the fine jewelry I bought over a decade ago when gold was a fraction of the price it is now has delivered a lot better return than many funds in my 401(k)! But I think the word “investment” is indeed usually misused to help justify buying something you can’t afford. It’s reasonable to spend

OK, so how do you do it in reverse? I do all my yard work and even pay for water yet I don’t get a deduction nor help on the water bill for a lawn that I don’t own. I don’t mind it because I’m the one enjoying it in the Summer etc. but I DO think I’m entitled to have the water paid at east if I’m doing the work. I

Hell no for me. Wasting time fixing other people’s property is a nightmare. If you want to fix, buy or build. If you just want to pay on the 1st and worry about the rest of your life the other 29 days, then rent.

General principle: Consumer good are NEVER investments. Never. Not ever.

Considering the city bought it, no it will not be a club anymore.

Yeah... I read it that way too. My mental image was of Harry going to the armory and busting out with his gunship and some of his mates following in a tank. I’m always surprised how well he hides his 1000-yard stare.

How do you know the journalists are Americans?

For how official and uptight Royal Communications usually are, that release might as well be a shirtless picture of Harry captioned “come at me bro - I will FUCK you up!” You know the royal PR people sent that one under duress- that is not their M.O. at all. So good on Harry for making them do it, and straight out

NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE

Maybe not a shitty person but one who has awfully detailed first thoughts.
