I have to say I find it disorienting that the editorial direction here is generally furious at micro transactions unless it’s a game that other people are furious at. Then it’s ok and everyone else is stupid.

A card game might be the one place where NFTs make sense in gaming. Quite a bit of sense actually.

Gotta admit I found the campaign to be truly wonderful. One of the finest playing shooters if the last 10 years. Keeps the feel of classic Halo while making it a movement shooter. On heroic it’s challenging without being frustrating outside a few spots (gravity hammer brute at the excavation).

There’s another issue at play that doesn’t seem to be appreciated. This happens to people for a variety of reasons. If the steamer was a man who was bad at the game it wouldn’t have been a misogynistic attack but they still would have been demeaned. Does it feel better to be attacked as someone who is bad at a game if

Dunno. Felt like the opening level of a shooter. Not sure what you were expecting. It’s a Halo game. Honestly how would you have made the set piece stuff interactive? A qte? How would you have implemented him blasting through space?

Are you honestly saying it's possible to park on 5th?  I mean you could still drive anywhere but 5th right?  At any time there's zero spaces anywhere from the park on down.

Exactly.   A game that has very precise combat I want to be able to switch targets,  fiddle with the lock on and move the camera.  It's why I remap Nioh to the souls  configuration.  Fenix rising worked well with that setup as well.  I also like dodge on left trigger in some games.  I've actually become dependent  on

Listen, I know you’re deep into a dogmatic position here but let me respond. The war on drugs, in fact, DID lower the amount of drug use. Most studies seem to think around 10 percent or so. As someone who was addicted to heroin it didn’t stop me but it sure as hell lowered the amount of recreational pot use. Alcohol

It will absolutely prevent some abortions. If it didn’t we wouldn’t really care would we? Of course it will. Many, perhaps most, women will still find a way but some women without resources will be prevented from having an abortion.

He voiced support for a law upholding abortion rights. To you and I it’s stripping women of human rights. To HIM it’s a law protecting rights. Because, you see, he disagrees with us. Disagreement on contentious issues is how a pluralist society works. The people opposed to abortion don’t view it as opposing the human

Im a firm believer in the ethical foundation for abortion rights. I also am the first to point out the poorly thought out metaphysical, philosophical and political basis for abortion restrictions. And, of course, the Texas law is particularly pernicious. However...

It’s worked several times. Not always but several times. South Africa comes to mind immediately. Further the Chinese government is monumentally heinous. It’s one thing to not levy huge crippling sancitons that punish ordinary citizens (Iran, Iraq, Cuba, etc.), it’s another to allow companies to get rich in a country

Perhaps this is true for someone who played the original. I was living in a miserable sty on the lower East side broke.

Not defend Randy Pitchford but this seems reasonable. The profit sharing scheme (a traditionally progressive business model popularized in co-operative’s) is merely a formula to...share profits.

I think, perhaps understandably, you might be unnecessary “gendering” these plot points.

Now playing

Yeah, I’m sorry but the games narrative is an utter mess.

What does it allow you to do? Its a dime a dozen survival/crafting game. Aside from the size of the universe theres nothing inovative about this game. Its just a survival/crafting game. And a very shallow one at that.
