Actually, that was The Old Curiosity Shop, the part where it is found out whether or not Little Nell died, and it wasn't exactly a riot so much as it was that there were so many people on the dock trying to get to the ship delivering the installment that the dock collapsed, killing numbers of people.

    I have only scrolled thru one page of comments, but NO ONE mentions "Babylon 5"? It is certainly not mentioned in the article. This show was planned out to run a 5 year story-line and then end That's precisely what it did. Yet interestingly, any one episode can stand on its own. You see, it can be done.
