I liked Home Ec, but I’d already learned cooking & sewing from 4-H. I would’ve done better to take shop. Plus, all the boys were there!
We sewed aprons and made quick bread. Most of the boys took shop. (late 70's)
I think they're the same salad, it just depends where you're from.
I like it. It reminds me of my childhood. My Mom was a working mom when it wasn’t the norm and she was the Queen of making foods/sauces/veggies in bulk and loading the freezer. She wasn’t a fan of the molded salads, but plenty of Aunts were, so we got our fill at holidays.
