The more I read gizmodo the more I think these articles are just “hey look guys, I just learned about this thing, so it must be novel”, without any research into the topic.

Here is a list of my expectations for this movie:

Not a jab, but I think Ant-man is my favorite Marvel movie to date. It’s very much an origins story without being over-the-top... Heck, it’s barely even a superhero movie... it’s more of a heist movie with sci-fi and superhero bits....

I agree that getting suddenly filthy rich won’t guarantee you happiness and may cause problems. But I’ve never found working in a boring job 8-12 hours a day to stave off poverty is any sort of spiritual Nirvana either. I would be willing to experiment with a different set of problems for awhile.

That last season was pretty haphazard. Seasons 1 & 2 seemed to building toward something... if not the end of the story then some major game change, at least. But then... it just sort of meandered and occasionally had someone act bizarrely out of character to further some kind of half-baked storytelling concept that…
