LOL that is indeed a head-scratcher.

Well honestly it was when I lucked into a job that pays bank. I bought a new car and went 4 years without any repairs. I sold it to buy another car which should again go years without worries. What a feeling... they just run! And heated seats OMG.

For me? OG Lotus super 7. I was selling my Subaru and looking for something wildly different. Up pops an ad on CL for an original super 7 for only a few grand more than I got for the subie! I had an appointment to go and see it and everything, but because I’m an idiot I backed out. No roof and all that blah blah. Shoul

This happened to me recently at work, we received dead-on-arrival parts that were the result of some poor soul screwing up on the factory floor. Keeps me paranoid... since my company is selling my manufacturing work too!

Agreed w/ davesaddiction, this playlist is rad

I love those weird public/college/community radio stations! Whatever they’re playing it’s usually good uhhh... eye-opening

An old Ramcharger, Bronco, or Scout? Take the top off and haul the whole gang to the beach!

Thoughts on how the Alta compares to the Zero dirtbikes? Also, I have to say I don’t know if they’re in the same league but I’m curious to know how this compares to the smaller dirt-objects like the cake bikes

NP all day. The trouble spots on that engine are sorted, cosmetics are very good... someone’s going to be pretty happy with their purchase

That’s a great use case for this, I agree. I can easily see setting up fishing hiking or climbing base camp using these guys. What would be extremely rad is a conversion to snow bike for backcountry skiing

Why is it even a question? Just buy the damn thing :) Seriously though really enjoyed this post. Thanks!

Hm, I’d go Africa twin for adv/touring, Zero sr/s for commute and for joyrides, and a 70s CB750 for working on all the time and never getting it quite running right! And for looking like a hipster.

ND purely from the ass-holery of the test drive requirements.

The Veloster would be a great choice here too... 2 seater, very light and go-kart-like. And even the non-turbo model has a fun “sport mode” that wakes the car up even more.

Got you a sandwichosandwich! See, no need to call an Uber.

Id want to give the old one a try on washboard, which is endemic in the mountains where I live. The old pickups I’ve driven were absolute shite on washboard because of the rear suspension and as I understand the old one is basically an F150. But! $15 grand does buy a lot of suspension mods so... maybe?

NGL that actually looks pretty good.

Good on Bubba Wallace! And I gotta say, good on Nascar for listening. I hope they follow through with action.

Buddy has a dodge promaster and I can tell you the patchouli leeches out from *everywhere.* Real cheap, and can stand up in it even if you’re 6'4 like him.

I never looked twice at a Lincoln before but... damn. That’s excellent.
