I may be in the minority sometimes but I think all the Corvettes have aged well. Even the C4s have grown on me. I think they have always had this thing about looking like the ideal sports car of their times. Like in a sense you can look at any generation and tell when it was from and what they were going for.

Don’t get me wrong, the Boxster is a great car, and I agree it does offer more refinement than the S2000 which is a bit more raw and visceral. I prefer the S2000's driving position, more nimble handling, high revving engine and vastly superior gearbox.

Is essentially the only difference between these two some of the internals? With as high dollar as the 2JZ-GTE is, couldn’t someone essentially mimic this by getting the “missing” pieces and assembling their own out of a 2JZ-GE?
