Might want to throw the kid in too just to be safe.

Absolutely, but punishing teenagers and saying what they’re doing is dangerous is not (suffice to say) a guaranteed way to change their minds. A potential mass murderer who is cut off from the internet doesn’t stop being a potential mass murderer, nor does the garbage he read there suddenly drop out of his head. And

that’s because the white people who commit these crimes generally don’t resist arrest. the shooter was surrounded by police and was about to commit suicide but the cops talked him down and he followed all of their orders.

I can’t balance out #believe women with the documentary Capturing the Friedmans, about how easy it is to get kids to invent memories, as well as Moses’s Farrow’s account of the day in question, which is completely different.

Well, there’s the rub. The audience for this book does not include Jezebel readers, so their boycott of it will have no effect.

Doesn’t seem too harsh to me. Taking away toys isn’t a particularly harsh punishment for a misbehaving child, so if an adult is going to actually make threats against people then this is the least I’d expect.

Finally, an internet personality that I dislike more than PewDiePie.

1.) Is it whitewashing if you’re made Asian?

Does whitewashing have the same history of negative connotations in Japan, or are you applying western standards to another culture? Isnt that just as bad?

Non-Japanese fans of Japanese game: We are mad that a character from said Japanese game appears a slightly different shade of color in Japanese cartoon series based on same Japanese game!

Speaking as someone who caught H1N1 the year there was an outbreak of it at PAX, and who spent ten days after the convention absolutely flattened, barely able to get out of bed:

Hahaha, the pettiness. You could be right or you could be wrong. You have absolutely no idea if they are backing out cause no one wants to go to these conventions right now. I have seen this, telecom has had people drop from their big ones also. Be it right or wrong, people are currently afraid and companies are

I think there’s some degree of hysteria that’s actually productive for containing an epidemic -hell, we could probably prevent a few flu deaths here and there if more people took regular flu more seriously - but it’s way too easy to go past that.

Precautions seem extreme until there is an issue. In this case they are likely remembering when someone with H1N1 went to PAX a decade ago and got a lot of attendees sick.

‘but it’s not like anyone expected Sonic to be a powerhouse’

its a kids movie based on a long and (weirdly) beloved franchise. it was going to do well

Jezebel wonders (suggests, really) that Warren’s disastrous performance somehow is due to sexism, all the while ignoring that Amy Klobuchar is doing just fine.

I mean, Raphie learned that lesson with his Little Orphan Annie decoder coin, and it was also Keanu Reeves’ whole storyline in Toy Story 4. Realizing you’re being relentlessly and shamelessly lied to by monolithic corporations every second of every day from the moment you understand spoken language until the very

Warren’s big mistake was all about healthcare.

Just don’t tell the folks over at Lifehacker.

I’ll always be fond of Bioshock Infinite’s MechaGeorges. Founding Father’s going to read you the Bill of Getting Your Ass Kicked with a Mini-Gun.
