I think the timing lines up right on that now that you say it, and yeah was probably exactly a reference to it.

In the interest of fairness there were 10,000 times more Minecraft ripoffs on the Xbox Live Indies thing than “smut”. A few gems could be found but not many. Shoot 1up had the sexy lady part covered, but was probably better than 80% of the stuff on regular Xbox Live Arcade. It also had those dead killer whales on the…
I don’t think there is going to be any “might” about it, ha even the little holographic beacon is a shameless rip off
4 really average or below games vs 2 really good games. I’ll take the 2 really good ones.
That Jedi Academy is really awful
They actually had some pretty fun multiplayer modes for a bit, like prop hunt, but I don’t know how much of a player base there still is
Maybe the only 2 games, but far better than a few months combined and way better than the Xbox effort this month.
Out of curiosity what exactly did they do wrong? I get that gamerz don’t really believe in a lot of financial realities.
Incredibly safe and incredibly boring picks all around
Stop being logical, let gamerz tell you how the economy works for a studio who’s main release is a non monthly fee MMO from 2012.
...and Guild Wars 2 is from 2012
Yeah and those other 2 games had monthly fees, this did not, how long was this supposed to keep the company a float? It’s a 2012 game.
You hinted at the major problem a very large majority of these non industry commenters are completely missing. Their major release was from 2012, how long did they think they were going to be able to float on that?
I’ve never been so disappointed to not know a game was about to turn into a RTS/Tower Defense half way through. First half was pretty great though.
haha yeah at first I thought he was making an inside joke, then followed the link. They were so bad for a game where you could die so quickly.
Actually since they seem to feel Anthem is ready it’s going to be just don’t announce your game to early. Don’t give the gamerz community or the blogs time to build a narrative around it
and also EA only has to look at their success with Apex to see that the future is going to be to really limit information on releases before they are almost ready to launch
I wonder if an SSD drive will speed things up. I put one in an external case for my Xbox One, the results have been dramatic. Ha didn’t do a stopwatch or anything but before on Red Dead 2 I would have to watch like 10-12 of those old timey pictures fade in and fade out at launch. Now I watch 3 and I’m in the game.
Ghost lady that brings the cold with her in The Evil Within 2 was damn scary. Screen would start turning blue and you’d see your breath and I knew I’d have to deal with her. Game is very good.
and you really processed it and still typed that out? comparing GTA online to Apex Legends.. mkay
