I think this game is coming in very hot. Everyone’s favorite Variety article even mentioned ongoing story cuts and that was mid September..ish. If there was anyway they could they would have wanted to start making money day 1 from Red Dead Online. If Amazon isn’t guaranteeing release date delivery sounds like a

To be fair I don’t think Kotaku has ever said they are not bias.

exactly, they want blood now, let’s move the goal posts

be honest, nothing would satisfy the narrative people already built up in their head

That’s pretty funny. Unfortunately that wasn’t my experience the other day when I dipped my toe back into the GTA Online waters to get the revolver and axe unlocks for Red Dead Redemption 2. Stupid drones all over me and quite infuriating till I figured out how to get into an online invite only session.

Xbox was acting weird, PSN was down for a bit, now Youtube was hit, power grids are next?

Judging from the comments, they should be very worried that the game isn’t going to hit their sales marks.

um, not really, and I’ll never play or buy one of these games

How many hours a week are they going to have to work to take it out?

There is the option just like the game, don’t play

Seems odd to even have to defend it since “army guys” have been around forever, but yeah it’s “for adults” is pretty silly. That said no amount of gimmick marketing could of have me want Blops Mega Bloks as a kid, those things are trash.

what about unreasonable people?

dumb

people like that are why the game industry is so annoying

Of course a miss-type but for a second I was like “Holy fuck” it does kind of seem like it

Dramatic much?

That’s been a major problem with this event since the beginning. Gamers are quite uneducated and somewhat insane.

quite typical in a lot of jobs really

I do think a lot of it is just damage control on the brand, not an overwhelming feeling of generosity or the opposite dumb conspiracy theories this was all a plan to screw over Telltale employees in general.

Realistically Kirkman probably doesn’t want the brand damaged. If you think these moves are done out of goodwill then I don’t know what to tell ya.
