Maybe the world would be a better place if Republican presidential candidates read AV Club boards to be able to get a hold of the phrase "it can be two things"

I bought whatever the half (quarter?) MGS game was when I got my PS4 about a year and a half ago and still have yet to play it. I love the series so I don't know what my deal is. I think I keep wanting to wait until I can devote a ton of time in one sitting to it but whenever that comes up I forget I have the game

Only two inches even after all the hubbub of "biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig storms aieeeeeee!" that was Monday into Tuesday! Where I live barely got anything (South of the cities)

Congrats all around!

The dentist causes so much more anxiety for me than any other doctor… and I've had two liver transplants so I've been through some anxiety producing dr's visits. Maybe it's that I have a fair amount of control on a lot of dental issues, unlike many other medical things

Same here. And it usually inspires a book and music buying binge

If you want to see some fantastic New Orleans style Jazz, Preservation Hall is the place to do it. One of the coolest experiences of my life (and by cool I mean neat, I was in NO in mid-July so the temperature was awful)

I first read Old Man's War on a whim about a year or two ago, boy was I glad to get into that series at a point in which most of it was out because I devoured it. Love his writing style and the premise. It's good, easy to read, and fun scifi

The poor widow Kulap….

I read Star Wars #1 and was underwhelmed so I haven't read anything after, figuring either I'll pick up a few trades at some point or I'll grab a bunch when it inevitably goes on sale on comixology around movie release time

I don't think so, but the hammer's effects have been pretty overall inconsistent with whoever is holding it. They've alluded to it knowingly being different when Odinson said something like "It never did that for me" so I'm assuming there is going to be an explanation at some point?

I fully admit I'm probably too close to the Mighty Thor story to do anything but love it.

MAYBE SAGA KINDA SPOILERS AHEAD (I dunno. Just playin' it safe I suppose)

That's why I enjoy Marvel's digital download model, it feels great to get the physical copy and be able to have the tactile experience of reading a comic, but I can revisit it later en masse via digital download. But it's a mega bummer for all other publishers.

I love visiting my LCS to chew the fat about comics since I don't run into many other people in my life to do that with. Bunch of really nice dudes work at it and it feels good to be a 'regular' at a place like it

I finally picked up the fourth trade of Saga and, good lord, what a compelling and phenomenal story. I picked up the first three in a comixology sale a long time ago and had the same experience as I did with other trades where I try to pace myself through it but end up reading the whole thing in one sitting.

I'm in the same dilemma as Spidey. I've loved the expansion of the spider-verse, but it makes it tough to decide which titles I want to follow and which ones to drop in order to not spend a (more) ridiculous amount on comics every month

Oh god, do I make a Seinfeld reference to when Kramer found Merv Griffin's set or a reference to Kramer hosting The Real J Peterman Experience tours?!?!

It took me until my third watching of 30 Rock to get that joke, but boy was that payoff worth it when I finally caught up

Where's the Seinfeld quote generator when we need it… "You yada yada'd over the best part!"
