I agree with your first point, TFA is the legacy sequel and RoS is a sequel to that, although it does feature many (bad) legacy sequel tropes such as bringing back old characters and focussing the action on conflicts already resolved in the original films.

Surely The Leftovers and Watchmen have absolved Lindelof already?

Or just throw her lightsaber at the ship’s rear thrusters? I’ve not watched any of the animated material, but given that all the inquisitors were given the same saber design in this show it doesn’t seem that their weapons are unique or individual, so why doesn’t Reva just go ham with her blade and use the force to

Yeah but there’s a difference between a comic who isn’t to your taste and a straight up, well documented bigot.

In fairness, the allegations against Englehort only came out after filming had wrapped.

Is the emotionally abusive grandma without a redemption arc not from Encanto? That was the main issue I had with the film, that Abuela Madrigal straight up gaslights Mirabel in front of the entire town and treats her like shit for not having a gift. Christ, she didn’t even get her own room and had to share the nursery

Phil Burbank is the outsider, he’s a city boy playing at being a cowboy. His reverence for the aesthetic is the reason that he wears chaps and spurs all day and night, he doesn’t actually fully understand or belong.

Looks like Pugh has pulled ahead but I still think Anya-Taylor Joy would make a better Irulan, she has a more regal/otherworldly demeanour and was reportedly also in consideration for the role earlier in the year.

After watching the New Zealand version, I’m pretty sure you’ll have interest in that at the very least.

It could be any number of things considering that the service is available worldwide, including the UK. Channel 4 could have an exclusivity window for streaming rights of new seasons, it could be tied to the sale of the US rights to the CW, or it could just be that they know the most recent seasons are the most

Can’t deny it’s a weak start to only launch with the first few series rather than the entire run of the show up to this point, but if it’s true that the service will include all international versions then it will be worth the price just for Taskmaster NZ Series 2.

Do we know that it’s Goff’s last days? They were milking the cow till the very end, and it seems like she is that last butterfly left. As long as the fluid doesn’t spoil quick, I think Goff could survive for a fair amount of time.

Best season of superhero TV is a bit of a stretch, but I guess it comes down to subjective opinion.

The Goff butterfly is still alive, and presumably there is a whole lot of fluid leftover now that she is seemingly the only butterfly that survived the episode, so that could also factor into season 2.

We know from Murn that the butterflies have genitalia, so presumably have a form of sexual reproduction, but it doesn’t seem like there are enough butterflies to take over every single human on the planet. Even if there was, they have a single food source and their society has already collapsed due to overconsumption

They’re reliably good at cutting together a great trailer for each new season as well, even the lackluster season 2 had a fantastic trailer cut to MJ’s Thriller.

I’m a few weeks late to the show (and haven’t watched past this episode so don’t know if this is answered in the final two), but I thought the pool scene was setting up Laura Lee jumping out of the plane once she realised it was on fire. She didn’t have that much height and was flying over a body of water, so at the

I’m not the person you asked, but I’d happily watch Dune, West Side Story, Pig, Zola, The Green Knight, Titane, Malignant, The Suicide Squad, Candyman, No Way Home, Shang-Chi, and Barb and Star multiple times. A few of those I already have, either a second time in theaters or again upon home release. And that doesn’t

I was about to ask if we ever did see Batlfeck kill, then I remembered he basically used a car full of goons as a hammer to squash another car full of goons in that nonsensical scene where he fails to rob Luthor of kryptonite, only to succeed offscreen two minutes later. Man, BvS is such a mess, it’s a wonder DC

I remember when Bond was one of the first films to push its release way back in early 2020 and that made me realise COVID would definitely be a problem across the whole world for quite a while.
