By the time he has five stones I guess Thanos assumes that he’ll win any fight, he came alone to collect the Mind Stone in IW too (as well as the Reality stone). Sure, he had sent the Black Order to Earth earlier, but that was when he only had two stones, after collecting three more he comes alone and doesn’t require

Not to mention the fact that at that point the Multiverse didn’t even exist (if we are to take HWR at his word), so there is no reason to assume the stones only work within their universe from that scene alone.

(Some series’ of) Doctor Who would take umbrage to being left out of your list of UK shows that have non-sucking Christmas episodes.

Not that it makes it at all better, but he slammed her head against the wall and didn’t touch her stomach, I’m only saying so as it is quite an integral moment to the resolution of the plot.

Scientist could be the Bruce Banner actor who joins the stage alongside Hulk as part of the closing musical number? NY shirt guy is probably just a random citizen, possibly the same as the two characters on either end of the bridge. There also appears to be Spider-Man on the far left on some kind of elevated step, so

Other than the couple of times he’s been at a low point and is drinking alone at home, it just seems like Ted (and Coach Beard) have acclimatised quickly to British pub culture. There was a reddit post doing the rounds the other day where an American was confused that drinking was portrayed as such a large part of

Tony still has the phone, presumably he called Steve when zombies started overrunning San Francisco and they put their differences aside. Remember, Tony was considering making the call at the start of Infinity War (and it starts to seem as if he was about to dial) but got distracted by Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian

I don’t think Johnson necessarily reversed much of what Abrams did in TFA, but he definitely took the threads left in a different (and more interesting) direction than Abrams planned. I think it would be funnier if Johnson kept building on the plot while taking it in a different direction and Abrams continually trying

I dunno, the Captain Carter ending seemed more to be a mirror to the melancholic ending of TFA and we all know how Ego’s plan will go if Peter is on his side and the guardians aren’t there to stop him, but this felt more like a set-up for a continuation of the story with Fury and the Captain’s rebelling against Loki’s

In Endgame the Ancient One specifically mentions that Strange is performing surgery during the New York Invasion, so we know for sure that he was injured post 2012.

Falling off a balcony would probably also involve broken bones, although that is also possible as we don’t know all the information.

Some speculated that Hurt’s seemingly reduced role in BW (being the reason behind his scenes cut from the end of the film) and the pivot from potentially setting up Thunderbolts to Val recruiting various morally grey characters are a result of these allegations.

We started with 14 members of the squad (arguably gained one or two along the way in Milton and the Thinker), and end with 6 still alive, that’s quite a lot of characters dying.

Also offering a UK perspective here, I took her reaction as more of a surprise than judgement. Openly gay professional football players basically don’t exist, so maybe the writers are seeding this for a potential future storyline, but I sincerely doubt Keeley would be anything but supportive, she’s just slightly taken

In fairness by that point he does technically have powers, although (and I have only seen up until this episode so this may be confirmed or disproved later) presumably the ‘Subjekts’ only have access to/knowledge of these powers when activated, and Kyle was still himself.

Counterpoint: I would watch anything with Alicia Vikander in it, so this will hold my interest until she (presumably) dies.

I guess up until now he was so focused on killing this world’s Superman that he didn’t care much about being addressed by the wrong name. It may have also been a reminder to him of his own world and the family he thought he was fighting to avenge, now that he has begrudgingly accepted that this Superman isn’t the same

That scene was great, moments where a superpowered character instantly races to the aid of their family without second thought or hesitation always get me for some reason, and Tulloch sold the panic incredibly well. A great episode for her in particular, and I loved Clark’s acceptance that while he would do anything

He’s also working for free, I’m assuming that lets him get away with missing days here and there when he’s otherwise engaged.

I’d say this is definitely worse than Deadpool (and Deadpool 2), the violence is far more visceral and realistic, a character straight up gets their face blown off in the opening scene and the gaping hole is shown later, alongside the mutilated remains of multiple corpses.
