Catching up on the show so a couple of months late with this comment, but was there not a line in the previous episode about how Jordan’s outburst could have hit a kryptonite deposit and this is what has awakened/caused Tag’s speed? Maybe the DoD have a similar theory and had kryptonite bullets ready just in case they

Ted Lasso doesn’t really seem like a water cooler show in the same way other streaming shows with a weekly release can be (The Boys, all Disney+ shows etc).

I don’t think it’s fair to assume that Dowd has no knowledge of the slasher genre, and I can see why he was assigned the series given the recent trend of elevated horror and Netflix attempting to give (in my opinion false) prestige to the Fear Street films.

A.A. Dowd gave this a C+, Katie Rife gave False Positive a B-.

Definitely intentional, it’s meant to be as if this was a promo actually produced by the school in universe, so obviously they don’t have particularly great FX skills.

I dunno, I feel like Netflix would have done this years ago if it was actually possible. It is slightly different as Disney obviously hadn’t originally planned to release Black Widow to streaming same day so there is an added financial element, but as the article notes Disney is only doing this for one more release

In fairness it seemed like the original plan was to empty out the cooler over the car (which might not have been as dangerous? Maybe?) but the main character got a nosebleed and her friend accidentally dropped the cooler out of the back instead of it just being the liquid. I don’t really understand why the main

In fairness, a good amount of the upcoming replacements for established male characters are confirmed to be female (Kate Bishop, She-Hulk, Ironheart).

I don’t think the implication is that slight, Mobius straight up says that two variants of the same person falling in love with each other is what caused the Nexus Event. It was notable because the branch was basically a straight line from the ‘sacred timeline’ going toward the boundary where the TVA cannot reset the

C’mon, everyone here calls it high school anyway.

Found Tyrese’s kinja account.

It could also be that her disdain for the franchises she had agreed to star in 5+ years prior was very clear in her later performances, especially X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. I feel like she mostly got through the aforementioned snarky, sexist attempted tear-down at the height of her popularity, only to

Yeah until MoviePass was a thing, I just assumed that US cinema chains would have the same monthly subscriptions as chains in the UK. I don’t understand how they hadn’t implemented the service before MoviePass showed it would be popular.

Obviously the guy wasn’t in the best mental state, I’m assuming the nudity was because of that.

Coming in from the future (have only watched up till this episode so far so future episodes may contradict me), but I took what John said to mean that Kevin went to hospital the day after coming home to his entire (very fucked up) family that was the last scene of season 2.

Yeah I had to google her name to make sure I wasn’t getting mixed up with a different Hollywood Lily, but she is near unrecognisable.

Yeah you’re right, I was sure I agreed with the writers but apparently I’ve either changed my mind or have always actually agreed with the Russos.

While the Russo’s disagree, the writers of Endgame say that old Steve came from an alternate timeline to give Sam the shield after living his life with Peggy, he could have just returned to that timeline and that explains his absence as well as Sam and Bucky referring to him in the past tense given that FatWS is set 6

Legends of To-Meow-Meow is such a great episode, I was watching it on a train and I had to turn it off because I was laughing too hard (don’t worry, I was obviously wearing headphones, I’m not a monster).

I mean, we all know why, it just backfired spectacularly because the producers of the show don’t know the winners ahead of time.
