"Largely, Vice Principals has been funny and ludicrous in the right amounts. But there’s nothing that suggests we should be tuning in each and every week."

I just looked it up again, that is definitely more upbeat than what I remember when I first listened to 25.

I, too, greatly enjoy looking at Chris, works for me.

Adele would bring about the most somber Super Bowl halftime. The most uptempo track she has is back on the first album.

Beginning with the oil paintings of Russell and Christine was a clear indication of my maximum enjoyment of this episode. Dayshawn finally bringing up the treks into the woods was glorious ("I would never fuck that man" *gazes off into the distance*), and the 80's glory music in the circle scenes were inspired.

This is one of my favourite commentaries. It joins the ranks amongst the Saw commentary, which is surprisingly funny.

What is this salty discharge?

It's only hit me now that I have been watching Happy Gilmore since I was 6 years old. Damn. In a movie constantly quoted, my choice (underrated?) quote is Ben Stiller's "well now your back's gonna hurt, because you just pulled landscaping duty." Unfortunately I have limited use of it so far.

Will Smith angrily dragging the alien in his parachute across the desert is still hysterical.

Never did I think I'd see an article on Asylum. GJ, AVC!

Personal negative associations with songs kills Hatesong. Also Hatesong kills The AV Club.

Also, loved this episode. That's all. - Me, 3 days after everyone's already left this comment section.

Whoever is choosing the soundtrack for this is killing it. I thought the music during the acid trip was some latin guitar cover of Lily Allen's 'Littlest Things', turns out it's 'Saraabe Toe' by Kourosh Yaghmaei… which I certainly would never have found without this show.

Culdesac and Camp is where it's at. Sweatpants is the only track that came close to the greatness of his earlier work.

I had to rewatch it to pinpoint the band rendition! That's rad, I hope that's available somewhere.

I saw Riley Reid in the Harley Quinn cosplay for it… so that's something.

Gamby's slavery denouncing was my highlight, but the absence of Goggins* was palpable. Keep this trash duo together for the first handful of episodes! Regardless, Lee's response to Gamby asking for help was divine. It was the look.

Great job AV Club for posting this, but it was only worth clicking for the comment section.

Among 11 seasons of incredible line readings. Glenn deserves more praise.

I experienced a feeling of joy I haven't felt since the moment "Stephen Colbert" threw back to Jon at The Daily Show in the final episode of The Colbert Report
