I mean there's definitely a "still" having trouble qualifier but I meant it mainly in response to a lot of other comments saying they liked this Iris and thought that they writers had sort of figured her out. I disagree. I think they're still throwing shit at the wall trying to see what sticks and it's inconsistent.

When my sister and I watched the first trailer for Riverdale the first thing we commented on was the hair. It looked even worse then but it's still pretty bad.

Yes! Like they knew he'd be better as a brunette so they didn't fully invest in red. But instead it just makes the whole thing worse. Whenever they refer to him as a "redhead" or a ginger it doesn't feel true. Especially comparing how ginger comics-Archie actually is.

I think Cheryl's looks way more natural than Archie's but it is a little cartoon-y. And Jason's is very bad but we see him so little that it doesn't bug me. Since Archie is basically the main character it's just a constant reminder of how much I dislike that hair.

I just have to add—the dye job on KJ Apa is terrible and unnatural and everyone involved in it ought to be ashamed.

The female characters are still leading the show. Betty, Veronica, and Cheryl (who got a whole lot more nuanced this episode) are way more compelling than any of the guys.
Also, it was frustrating to me that Veronica was putting way more effort into getting Betty's forgiveness than Archie did. Archie and Betty have

I also disliked her through season 1 and I really like her this season. I think part of me not liking her in this episode is her and Barry's decision to not tell Joe the truth. I feel like she's usually so much smarter, though, so her making really dumb decisions in pursuit of a story was dumb. Also I feel like the

I love Gypsy, I want her to come back permanently. Also I love every version of the relationship between Harrison Welles and Cisco.

Also, the costuming choices were a little on the nose with Betty and Veronica but I still loved them.

The relationship with Ms. Grundy really grossed me out. I know it was advertised beforehand but just—even though I knew they were going to be high school students—the fact that they did that when he was not even a sophomore yet just made it feel worse (like I didn't really put how bad it was together until they talked

I enjoyed this much more than I expected to. I was going into it expecting to mock it but I really liked it and the fact that it acknowledged some of the silliness in the premise and made it work.

I love the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack and I would love that so very much.. I have "Pretend to be Nice", "Spin Around", and "3 Small Words" on my phone. And I already love this version of the girls—hope all three of them get fleshed out more— and can't wait to see where they take them.

I feel like the finale ended the way it did because for a very long time there was a question to whether it'd be renewed for a second season. This ending allowed it to tie up the major loose ends and leave on a high note if no second season happens.
I agree that they're lowering the stakes in a way, but as Rebecca

The CEO was the girl from the first episode when Brian was a temp. Didn't realize it til I read the review.
Boyle gave his NZT to Rebecca to show honesty and transparency when she was hiding her fears about Brian being bad. She then took it when she was with Brian interrogating him for his affiliation with Morra.

Also just finished watching tonight's Limitless and that show is so well-written and compelling it just further illuminates the glaring flaws in The Flash lately

So the plan was to open the breach and let Zoom onto Earth1 to save the people of Earth2 but as soon as Wally is kidnapped they decide to give away Barry's speed thereby allowing for the total destruction of Earths 1 and 2??
The whole ending I just kept going "this is so dumb. Why?? So dumb. This is so stupid."
And also

I was just bummed that Barry didn't counter with "You're not Anakin, you're Luke!"
