Thank you for that! So was the third generation, Sofie and Ben’s kid that would be the savior/destroyer. Imagine the fight for that child between them and Brother Justin.

I was obsessed with this show. My S1 and 2 DVD sets are in tatters from watching it all the time... I think that audiences showed they can handle long, slow burn type of stories like Carnivale had.

Swooooooooooon!!! I’m sorry, what was the question??

Did you find one?!

Thank you! I spent years looking for a similar black button down top to the one she wears in a bar scene. I clearly just wanted to fuck her, but I would settle for the shirt.

A friend just texted to say she was loving Carnivale and why had she never heard of it? I don’t know if I have the heart to tell her. Meanwhile Entourage gets like 15 seasons and a movie. RIP!!

HBO has given us some damn good shows. They need to finish a few and I’ll be content.

I thought I was the only one. I will randomly think of the show and lament the fact that we’ll never get an ending.

Clea Duvall always means carnivale to me, and that we didn’t get an ending just sucks.

Thank you, yes! I loved Carnivale, and I cried out in anguish at the end of the series, because I knew we’d never get a resolution. 😣

That Brother Justin gif got me so hyped for the show. I was never so mad about the end of a show.

So damn good. Just looking for gifs got me all excited for the show. And it ended right when it got hella interesting too.

I still want it to come back. Is Nick Stahl doing well again? I will help him through rehab if I can get that show back.

Way ahead. Even if it aired now, it would still be ahead of the curve.

I LOL’d at that.

I feel like now would be a good time for another Carnivale. Sequel or remake, doesn’t matter. It was 10 years ahead of its time.

why did you have to bring that up? i can’t stand that i’ll never know

I think Sofie may be my favorite character ever on TV, and I am so with you on this.

as well as the fact that most everyone’s white.

She captured the attention (and hearts) of every teen who didn’t feel normal enough in She’s All That, Can’t Hardly Wait, and The Faculty, and maintained that always-captivating presence on the periphery in movies like Girl Interrupted, Identity, and the 2012 Oscar winner for Best Picture, Argo.
