One TV reviewer mentioned how this was the first episode without a single mention of Will, but it seemed like we are really seeing Alicia become even more like Will. Her interactions with Finn were very in line with how Will was with opposing counsel, switching from passionately advocating for his client to casually

Funny this popped up here while I was reading this review. I just saw The Spectacular Now is on Amazon Prime now, and my plan for tonight is to watch it.

I feel like they might actually keep Will's name but drop Diane's. It would make sense branding wise to maintain some tie, even in name only, to the firm as it was. Also, it would be a final f—— you to Diane from David Lee to hold Will's name/legacy hostage.

I could be wrong, but I don't think they were up against the filing deadline. They needed him to file ASAP so Castro wouldn't fire him before he could file.

I'm intrigued with the notion of Alicia running for State's Attorney, but I can't imagine it coming to fruition at this juncture. I could see this being more of seed that's planted for the end of the series with Alicia stepping forth on her own to run for office, without Peter's name.

Cary has been harboring a crush on Kalinda for forever, and Kalinda has just the right combination of affection for Cary and the relationship benefiting her to pursue him. It did seem random at times this season, but now it's clear what the payoff was with that moment of Cary finding out publicly that Kalinda has

Joey was involved when Monica briefly wanted to get a sperm donor and have a baby. Joey was the one who convinced her that it wasn't what she wanted, and it was a sweet scene. (Probably foreshadowing what was the expected midseries hookup.)

Whoa, no love anywhere in this for TOW Chandler in a Box? "The purpose of the box is threefold…." Plus, Monica's rundown of everyone's poor romantic choices was pretty awesome as well.

I'm REALLY late to the party, but I agree with this. I also think that their relationship in hiding is one of my favorite stretches of any sitcom, and gave the show a big boost at the time. While I do agree with the sentiment that the later years had too much Shrew! Monica and Whipped! Chandler, I think the

They used to find things would generally be sensationalist, and somehow make them really, really boring. They had things like "A Dating Story," where normal people would go on really normal dates, for instance.

I wouldn't be stunned if Peter gets accused of some sort of misconduct with the intern near the end of the finale, and going into what is likely the final season, Alicia will have to decide if she's still The Good Wife. They again reminded us that Zach is becoming an adult, reminding us that Alicia' station in life

This episode did seem like filler, but more in tune with filling that sets up the final two episodes. Even "prestige" dramas do this.
