It’s only a problem with capitalism if you are applying it to a county without serious immigration enforcement. With immigration enforcement, wages will rise on the low end because as people note, Americans aren’t willing to pick fruit for 6 bucks an hour. They might for $15 though.

They started by rounding up political dissidents and “undesirables.” That had to create various laws to do this because they wanted the appearance of the rule of law. No dissidents are being rounded up, just people who have been breaking the law…
