Cities don’t pay secret service bills. If you mean extra police, maybe, but the secret service is totally funded by the Feds and is paid through federal taxes.

There are socialist economies that fail as badly as communism and then there is the mix of market economies and socialized services (which is the US and Europe to varying degrees) where capitalism funds the socialistic programs. Assumptively, they are protesting for either anarchy, communism, or total socialism…

We have a functional system. It limits immigration to what the government feels we can appropriately integrate into society. The people who are being removed didn’t use that system and are experiencing the pain of working outside the system.
