Why would the NHL fund a completely unrelated organization that doesn’t drive any of their revenue? Us hockey gets almost all of their money from youth league dues, so I’d imagine this will result in cuts somewhere in their development program.

Their main source of revenue is from youth leagues paying dues (and some beer league). Paying the women more won’t bring anymore revenue, so theoretically, something will be cut.

The problem stems from 2009. I’m not sure how this would be on Trump. Literally the only thing that isn’t shit in his budget is increasing VA funding substantially. Trump sucks, but the VA has been broken for years. Based on this article, this is a genuinely bad take.

Get denied for what? The VA still covers your medical bills regardless of when or how you get injured unless you are dishonorably discharged.
