The point Alix makes is that Wagoner and he actually designed the plan that inevitably split GM into two companies, with all the toxic assets going to one company and all the good stuff going to a new GM. He says that Wagoner had to hold on long enough to make sure the terms of his surrender included a $40-$50 billion

I find the 2-door even more evocative.

Oh God. Mine looked just like that. You've made me desperately miss it.

I'm with you, but exclusively of this vintage. A 1995 Country LWB in just that shade of green would be a dream.

Agreed. I went there when I was Chevy shopping a few years ago and got terrible customer service. Needless to say, they didn't get my purchase.

Dads. Dads who can't afford a Cadillac ATS or BMW 3-Series really, really want this car.

Its really really awkward. I physically have a hard time watching it. Especially the part where the girl says "FR-S"...although if that girl actually drove an FR-S...I'd like to meet her.

I actually liked it the first time a saw it, I really wanted to buy a Scion and party with a lot of superficial people I didn't know!

The video of the explosion of the second launch shows a date of 03-07-1969, which I assume means July 3rd. That puts it almost two weeks before the launch of Apollo 11, but after all the missions that didn't actually land on the moon. The fourth and final test launch was sometime in 1972.
