It's easy to understand where Audi is coming from on this, though. The Mercedes-Benz CLA has been hugely successful at bringing in new buyers, so Audi wants to do the same with their new entry-level car. And maybe these hipster parties will succeed in spreading the brand awareness they want.

Was this during Jaguar ALIVE?

Darn. I was a really big fan of the XK-RS. Especially in French Blue. Made me weak at the knees.

That is seriously ugly. I actually hope no one buys it. The X6 was something I could understand. This is going to be a depreciation disaster.

If they can get away with this, which is clearly over $500, I say no penalty laps if I decide to enter a Ferrari Mondial.

There's something insufferable about this yuppie no-nothing couple asking all the wrong questions in favor of all the wrong car. I think it's that it makes the target audience wonder if they, too, are this vapid in person.

Honestly, one of my favorite cars ever. The E38 7-Series cars were beautiful, fast, and everybody simply knows they have to get out of your way.

Thank you for this video, Matt. I just had this exact conversation with a high school buddy when determining what car to buy once he's out of grad school. I told him to try both.

Totally agree.

Yeah, they're around $13-17k where I live. I don't think they'll go any lower because of the nostalgia factor. It's like the SSR.

But so many people Ford made them. And don't get me started on the dealer mark-ups in the beginning...

Mustang was still on the Fox platform. In fact, the 2005 Mustang was developed off the Thunderbird platform!

I totally agree. But they should've made the interior better, given it some qualities to attract younger buyers instead of retirement communities, and they would've had a hit on their hands.

Same here. Loved that concept.

One more on MT: The 2002 Thunderbird.

If you want to buy a new car with a V12 engine and a manual gearbox, there is only one you can get: The Aston Martin V12 Vantage. It's worth every penny.

I loved the E60 M5 too. It was a supercar with four-doors.

The current M5 isn't that good. The S8 with the 4.0T is better.

Join the club. He dismissed it as a kit car and thought even $15K was too much.

Forget LeMons. This should be Doug DeMuro's next car.
