Satish, don't worry about the CVT haters on Jalopnik, they aren't rational and never listen to reason. It's a great, simple, and very light transmission. It's also the most efficient and keeps your engine in the perfect rev range at all times.

I created an account just to post this. Not only do my parents own (and adore) a base-model Caliber, but they decided they liked their first PT Cruiser so much that they should get a second one.

It has got to be the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. It is amazingly beautiful, but not flashy. It has a great noise, but it isn't shouty. It's fast, but it doesn't get carried away.
