Oh and please tell us what bastion of human society you come from that “deserves” a successful coach.

But there’s a happy medium between the Browns going through coaches like tissue paper and the Bengals holding on to a mediocre coach forever. I agree that teams move on too quickly sometimes, but going to the other extreme just because “it could be worse” isn’t smart either. The Bengals could have given 3 coaches a…
I seriously wander how big of an impact Cleveland has had on Lewis keeping his job. The Bengals were 7-9 this year and there were a couple games that you could say if things broke another way the Bengals may win those. But really they 5-9 against actual football teams. Four games under looks a lot worse than two.
I’m against Auto bids. I think it was 2015 but didn’t Florida win the SEC East with 3 or 4 losses? If by some miracle they caught Bama on a bad day or fluked their way into a win that does not make them deserving in my opinion. And some years the top group of 5 team may have two losses. If they do expand to 8 I hope…
If on field results are the criteria, then why was Alabama considered so heavily over Wisconsin. If Alabama got in because they only had one loss to a good team, then why wasn’t Wiscy considered closer to Bama, since they actually won their division.
As a Bengals fan that desperate “Let’s go Andy” is a sound I know all too well. No hope, just pure anguish and despair. But God is it funny to hear from someone else/
No not at all. Dabo’s beaten Urban in 2 games (one being a smack down) but in no way is his resume comparable. Dabo did well and got a championship with a generational quarterback, but Urban and Saban being able to win at multiple schools shows they’re on a different level.
Someone think of the children!
Wait wait wait... Its to your “great astonishment” that most people liked this movie? Good god how arrogant are you and how narrow is your world view that it astonishes you that people don’t think the same way as you.
The Empire was successful in the Prequel Trilogy. In the Original Trilogy their only success was destroying the Hoth base (they also got Yavin off screen) but the Rebellion still escaped with minimal loses. Compare that to how the Resistance is down to just a few people left on the Falcon, I’d say the First Order is…
I think that scene was just edited awkwardly. One cut to the First Order showed that the cannons were firing once every few seconds, and another showed the transports were actually going down fairly quickly. I think the way it was cut made it seem like a lot more time passed prior to Holdo turning the ship around than…
No its not. Had you or anyone you ever talked to before ever thought about ramming ships at light speed? I certainly don’t remember ever hearing some one say they should have just rammed the Death Star at light speed. So why is it hard to think this was the first time someone thought of it.
This needs more recognition. Never once when discussing Star Wars did I hear someone say “Why didn’t they just ram the Death Star at Lightspeed?” Even we never thought of it, whose to say they never did either.
I’ve been wondering when Andy would appear on this column.
I mean the First Order did destroy the New Republic, and almost completely wiped out the Resistance. So far they look miles better than the Empire in the original trilogy. The only way the First Order could be more successful would be if they actually killed the heroes, which obviously wasn’t going to happen.
Disagree completely. The Steelers are the most disgusting franchise in the sport. Even if you don’t count their rapey quarterback they have more dirty players on their team than any one in the league. They just get away with it because they win.
Wasn’t this the guy who claimed after the hit and the taunting that that wasn’t him? That he wasn’t the kind of guy to celebrate injuring another payer? And yet here he is literally celebrating hurting another player. The Steelers really are the most disgusting organization. They just get away with it because they win.
I agree with this and the only thing I can really think of is that maybe Holdo didn’t know it would work, and it was more of a last ditch shot in the dark kind of thing.
I mean the movie explained why he died. In Ren and Rey’s first conversation Ren asks her if she’s a projection but answers his own question saying no she’s not that strong and something like that would kill a man. Luke didn’t die just because; the movie gave you the explanation before it happened.
This certainly looks true, but I’m hoping that either the book version or something else tells us that Holdo wasn’t sure it was going to work, and it was just a last ditch effort.
