Yeah but it isn’t the same old light side vs dark side story. The movie showed from Luke saying it and in the scene with the hole that Rey isn’t the same old Jedi who is anti dark side. And Kylo Ren isn’t a Sith, he’s still very conflicted with the light side.

I was fine with it. I mean she’s supposed to be just a strong with the force as Luke is, just never trained in it. So it really wasn’t hard for me think that she was just using the force instinctively to survive.  

Snoke is only shitty if you think he was supposed to be more important than he really is. Snoke was never meant to be the big bad of the triology, Kylo Ren is. They just needed someone to hold the supreme leader role until they could pass it to Kylo Ren in a believable way. Giving him some affinity for the dark side…

I think it’s a lot harder to notice things in space than you think it is. Also these ships are massive and the distances shown are much greater than you think. I don’t think a random Stormtrooper looking out a window is going to see a bunch a small ships escaping, especially if they aren’t looking for them.

I think that part of the movie was just cut awkwardly. One of the cuts showed the cannon firing once every couple of seconds so it was destroying the ships fairly quickly, but the way it was cut made it seem like Holdo sat there and watched for a while.

If you don’t get what happened to Luke you probably didn’t watch the movie very closely. Kylo Ren says it right in the movie why he died. The first time Rey and Ren talk Kylo Ren mentions he can see Rey but not her surroundings so he asks her if she’s a projection. Before Rey answers Kylo Ren cuts her off saying that…

The craziest thing to me about these pictures is how much larger the difference looks than it actually is. Joel is 7'0" and Jose is 5'6". That’s 18 inches. If you looked at 18 inches on a tape measurer its not that big, but looking at this picture I’d swear Joel Embiid was at least 3 feet taller than Jose Altuve.

Depends on if the committee values good wins more than it does bad losses. OSU has the extra bad loss but if it beats Wisconsin it would have 3 wins better than Bama’s best win, and a conference title. 

This is false. If Georgia is 12-1 and SEC champ they go in over Bama. SEC championship game is a play off game. Winner moves on, loser goes to the peach bowl or something.

Because it was a non football injury? If camera men running into players were part of the game I’m sure he wouldn’t be mad about it, but this is something that should never happen.

Did anyone think the Celtics were the best team in the East last year? Record is cool and all but its not the only metric by witch you can judge a team (especially in freaking November). And a lot of metrics would still put the Warriors ahead of the Celtics.

Um, FCC ownership announced yesterday that they would privately finance the new stadium completely. They only asked that the city spend $75 million to improve downtown infrastructure, which the city needs anyway. 

But Michigan isn’t actually good a rushing. They rushed really well in their rivalry game against Rutgers and against Mighty Maryland, but any team with a pulse on defense hasn’t had much trouble slowing them down.

It all makes sense now. We’re the ones living in the Upside Down, and the demogorgon is the President.
