As someone who currently flies the KC-10 (a DC-10 with some extra goodies), I am going to stay on the nostalgic side. All the major DC-10 safety issues (cargo door, hydraulic routing and shutoffs, bad maintenance practices leading to engine pylon failure) were fixed long ago.

Flying civilian is always so weird. In the back doing nothing. Blah.

For me it was ~$45 USD. Rides were a bit more.
