This was a really good interview for what I think is one of the most clever shows I’ve seen. I really wish the title of the article had gotten past the title of the show, since so many people just can’t seem to get past that.

I thought he meant the Lannister army would know they were coming because of all the ships in the harbor - not that they’d know so far ahead of time to send the Greyjoy fleet from clear around the other side of the country. Too many coincidences - I think Cersei might have spies in Daenerys’ camp (maybe even Varys?)
I still buy music, as it is the only way that artists really make any money. I mostly listen to smaller, more independent musicians and streaming nets nearly nothing for them. I just can’t morally justify not paying them for something I enjoy.
I listen to a Ludovico Einaudi station, which plays Olafur Arnalds and similar music (Max Richter, Fabrizio Paterlini, Sylvain Chaveaux, Dustin O'Halloran).
Great article with real honesty about breeds. Most breeds are the result of years of selection of certain behaviors, and it can take a lot of training to get them to behave otherwise (and they still might not at times). The cute little white puppy in the video preview (American Eskimo) grows into this, and is really…
When we raised our daughter ~15 years ago, it was hard to find friends who could play outside with her. They were only allowed to walk directly from one house to another; otherwise they mainly spent their summers stuck indoors, or doing highly structured activities. We didn't want our daughter to live like that. We…
It really only makes sense to break the discussion out to electric vs blade, though obviously old school is winning here.
I love the IBM Model M's, but I got a laptop with no keyboard port on the docking station at work. I started with a standard cheapo keyboard and was well on my way to carpal tunnel syndrome so my manager approved a Rosewill with blue switches.
I'm pretty sure that's how you have to use this - touch it to something metallic (or your wife - not recommended) to drain off the static electricity. Just having it on you isn't going to do that.
This is linux/unix. It's been that way for decades. Not the case with Windows.
French press is dead easy for making coffee, but in my house they only last a few months before my wife breaks the glass container while washing it.
Definitely Internet Explorer is missing from the list. If you work in a large corporation, you're often saddled with it because internal websites don't work on anything else.
The lower spec cables are "slower" because they can't carry a signal as well. If you try to push a signal over a lower spec cable over a longer distance, there will be more loss. If you're only using the lower spec cable over a short distance, there will be less loss - probably so little loss that it won't affect…
I could find a better player and do all sorts of setup in the time I would have spent waiting on iTunes (had I not already found a better player). It used to be really nice many years ago, but it horribly bloated now. Unfortunately I occasionally ran into reliability issues with other programs on an iPod Touch...so I…
MusicBee reminds me of iTunes many years ago before it became the bloated monster it is today. Winamp may be on it's way out for me, too!
The vitamin was probably B2. I've been taking magnesium and B2 daily for a few years now. The migraines are a little less frequent, and a lot less intense. It takes a couple of weeks before the effect is noticeable.
