I dare say the Point & Shoots are closer to DSLRs than phone cameras are to point & shoots. I will never buy a DSLR because of the weight, size, and accessories you have to carry around. A good point & shoot camera is good enough for me in terms of size, weight, speed, and 720P video, such as the Lumix I have. A phone

Cool, now get rid of the stupid Text charges, at least for people who already paid for a data plan, it's the same freaking data but being charged twice. I can understand charging people who don't have a data plan, but it's just evil to charge people who do.

Kinda odd that none of the tech blog sites have their hands on it yet.

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: Depends, not all thieves are the same. Some don't necessary want to be considered as thieves, they are just opportunists. Like if you forget your laptop in a public location and they see it, they will take it and don't want to give it back even if they have the chance to do so. So hopefully, maybe

To all the thieves out there, please transfer the content of the harddrive to DVDs and hide it somewhere in a safe place, like at a public park or business area. Then email the owner the location of it, you probably know their email address from their laptop, along with probably their name and home address. Unless you

They should call it iSomething else, it's not a hub for just "tunes" any more. Maybe iMarket or iStore for buying, renting, and syncing music, movies, and apps. But iTunes, the media player and streamer, can be a feature of the iMarket/iStore.

@gemcosta: yeah, what font is that?

@martin0641: not necessarily, my Toyota Tacoma has a backup camera and the video is on the backup mirror: [tinyurl.com]

@maythetechbewithyou: Maybe because they are selling plenty of copies of Win 7, like 240 million in one year?

@SanjiX: Where do I start... You can get MyWi and tether without paying extra to AT&T. You can allow any app to work over 3G and not restricted to WiFi internet access only. SBSettings is great also, quick controls for often used features such as adjusting screen brightness/volume/vibrate, turn on/off BT, WiFi, 3G,

@LeadfootYT: Since Woot has recently been sold to Amazon, the link has only been there for several months. And if you are familiar with Woot, you know for sure that the Woot guys are behind that rick roll.

Who cares ... besides, how does Caine explain this?

@Pook365: yeah, you could just duct tape card-boards to your arms and jump out of an airplane at high altitude and flap your arms for a minute or so and then pop out your parachute. Is that an ornithopter too?

@nootron: Shortage of helium is no laughing matter.

@carlmccunn: lol. Maybe it makes you feel better knowing that there are thousands of teenagers that tried it also but failed miserably, so this kid is the few that succeeded. What he is doing is a lot more work and smarter than the lucky bastard that won the lottery, but still, he has some good fortune for his success.

My brother has been driving for years without a license plate and never got pulled over for it. He still has the dealer plate that came with the car. And he is no Jobs. Heck, he doesn't even have a job. So as long as he doesn't get pull over for something else, Jobs probably can go plate-free for as long as he wants.

@snitch: But then the EVO 3 will come out, you better skip the EVO 2 also. Heck skip all of them until you know for a fact that it will be the last EVO model. But then another HTC phone will come out and be even better. Fuck it, don't ever buy anything.
