Yeah I grew up on stuff like Quake 2 and 3, and even the very first Unreal (98).

As my first UT game, I thought the game feel was pretty off. Like even the vehicles just felt shitty to me.

Unreal had some good ass lighting for its time. I still think its good looking if your in the right mind set and can respect how good the atmosphere is.
